The 3rd Toolip Art Contest 2024, a vibrant event brimming with art enthusiasts, unfolded in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. I was honored to be among the 60 artists selected from across the globe to participate in this prestigious competition. The Toolip Art Gallery showcased our diverse artworks, providing a captivating experience for the public over a two-month exhibition.

Throughout history, humanity has engaged in a ceaseless cycle of creation and replacement of idols, mirroring the ever-shifting landscape of our collective imagination, desires, and cultural values. These figures, imbued with symbolic power and diverse interpretations, have inspired both fervent devotion and bitter conflict, shaping the course of civilizations both grand and humble.

Work in Progress" offered a rare glimpse into the evolution of artistic exploration, showcasing a collection of works in their nascent stages of development. The sheer volume of these pieces, each pulsating with creative energy and unrefined potential, prompted me to share them with a wider audience. This exhibition provided a unique opportunity to witness the genesis of diverse concepts and bold ideas, revealing the dynamic interplay of experimentation and refinement that fuels my artistic practice.

„AT DUTY” is a contemporary art project and installation that aims to give a concrete form to the biggest fraud in the banking system that ever happened in Moldova but also encourage the critical thinking of Moldova’s citizens about the actions taken by the governors. “DUTY”, in Romanian language has two meanings, one of them being „debt” – a direct reference to the debt the Moldovan citizens now have to repay. The second one refers to the duty that Moldovan citizens feel towards their country.

MAD in MOLDOVA is a collection of paintings and graphics that address prejudices in Moldovan society with sarcasm. One of the landmark symbols used for this collection is the image of the ox which can be found in the country’s coat of arms of Moldovan flag.

Delighted to exhibit some of my works at the MOYA Museum in Vienna. Art fairs are very good for meeting as many people as possible. In Vienna I managed to socialize with a very diverse audience and to better understand who my audience is. I can't wait for the next art fair.

The invitation came from Brick Lane Gallery at the right time. I was in the middle of some experiments with prominent personalities in the history of mankind. I was replacing Dalalilama's historical road with a fictional one. The series of works I exhibited was called "Alter Ego". A virtual path to a visually recognizable character, but with an imaginary story.
